CRC is actively supporting the Panchayat Biodiversity Management Committee (BMC) in reviving the Panchayat’s biodiversity register to document its unique and rapidly disappearing ecosystem. This work is closely linked to CRC’s school and youth programmes in the region.
On July 5, 2025, CRC will launch a new initiative by distributing 93 fruiting tree saplings to 93 students across the region. CRC will also provide advice and support for the care of these trees over the next five years.
This living tribute honours the memory of Late Shri Dharmarathanam, a beloved teacher and respected community member who passed away on June 5, 2025, supported by his family trust.
